Use a mild, baby-friendly detergent to avoid harsh chemicals that could irritate sensitive skin. Skip fabric softeners and bleach. Pima cotton is naturally soft, so it doesn’t need any extra softener. Wash with like colors to avoid any color bleeding.
If using a dryer, use a low heat setting to prevent excessive shrinkage and preserve the integrity of the fabric. Air drying is an excellent alternative for maintaining softness.

Most types of regular cotton (also called conventional cotton) have short fibers, but Pima cotton has extra-long fibers that give a natural softness and longer durability. The Pima cotton production is generally less impactful on the environment than conventional cotton. Pima is drought-resistant and naturally resistant to pests so it doesn’t require as many chemical pesticides which makes it environmentally friendly.
Pima cotton is usually handpicked, which helps retain the integrity of the cotton fiber and reduces waste and negative environmental impacts.

Cotton is arguably the most popular material for swaddling blankets. It’s lightweight and breathable and gets softer the more you wash it. Bamboo is also getting more and more popular due to its softness.
Our blankets are made of Peruvian Pima cotton known as the softest cotton in the world. It’s naturally hypo-allergenic and safe for newborn delicate skin. We added a touch of spandex to give it a 4-way stretch and enhance the softness.

Please note that the USPS is sometimes marking packages as delivered a day or two before they are actually delivered. If you wait a day or two it is quite possible your package will turn up.
If you requested a signature on delivery there should be proof of delivery in your USPS tracking information and a copy of the signature obtained to assist you in tracking down your package.
If the package was sent with no signature required locating your package may require a bit of detective work. (Customer assumes responsibility for packages sent with no signature required once they leave our warehouse.)
First, make sure a notification has not been left by the carrier. If not, then please check with any household members, neighbors, or office staff who may have taken the package in for you as well as any “hidden” spots where a package may have been left for you.
If the package is still not found please contact the local office of the carrier, (ie, your local post office, local Fed Ex hub, etc). They would have been the last people to have possession of your package and may have further information for you. Once a package is picked up by the carrier it is out of our hands and we have no further information than that provided in tracking information.

Stretchy blankets are better suited for swaddling vs. non-stretch Muslin blankets. Stretchy blankets, like our Nanat, stay snug while allowing some wiggling without sliding off when baby is asleep.

Personal preferences may vary, but when creating a baby registry, it's commonly recommended to include three to six swaddle blankets for your newborn's wardrobe. This allows you to have a couple available while others are being laundered. You can easily rotate and keep some extra ones in case one is missing.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends parents keep their babies swaddled for 12–20 hours per day for the first few weeks after birth. This relaxes babies. Swaddling a baby correctly also protects her from overheating, injuries and sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS.
Swaddling also helps with the Morro reflex – when their little legs and arms stretch due to noise, “startling” them awake.
If you’re wondering if should you swaddle your newborn for naps, the answer is yes! Swaddling is encouraged because it lets babies know that when they’re swaddled, it’s time to get some sleep.
It’s recommended that you stop swaddling your baby once they can roll onto their tummy or if your baby does not seem to like it.
